The Lodge at Lightning Bug Springs

This place was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin was clean and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and pans. We explored and hung down by the river everyday, which we had our own walkway to access. We saw deer and bats. Was great to slow down, be in nature and enjoy peacefulness. The beds are due for replacing. The master bed is super high which may not be for everyone but has stairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful. The only hiccup was that the dishwasher did not clean dishes well, but we didn’t mind the handwashing.

Beautiful property. Photos are accurate. Secluded and private with the river running g past it. Bbq pits and grills for outdoor cooking and snores before stargazing. Doesn’t get better than this. We will be back.

Lightning Bug Springs property is beautiful! There’s always something to explore or play with, love that it got the family outside playing like kids again. The Lodge was amazing and very clean. We loved everything about it. Our favorite part was the back porch, sitting on the rocking chairs looking into the river trying to spot all the wildlife. Thank you so much!

This was the perfect place to stay! The cabin was so clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals every night. There is a grill for burgers and we cooked hotdogs on an open fire. The river in front of the cabin is not swimmable but if you make a short walk down we found the perfect swimming hole with fish that come right up to you. If you want to vacation and have a peaceful experience, this is the place. It is perfect and we will be back.
